We can't emphasize how much these tours need to be experienced in VR Mode! Every single one of our virtual tours, free or premium, can be experienced in VR Mode. Below are to steps to get you in there. Right now VR Mode is only accessible for the Meta/Occulus Quest 2 and 3 headsets.
Entering VR Mode
- Launch the Meta Web Browser on your Meta Quest device.
- Go to www.airworthytours.com.
- After selecting your tour, use your controller to select the VR goggles icon in the right hand corner.
Navigating in VR Mode
- Once in VR Mode, you will see a small dot. This dot tracks your eyes and serves as your mouse. You can move around the tour by looking at the icons that come in pinpoints, circles, arrows and helicopter icons.
Exiting VR Mode
- You can exit VR Mode, by simply pushing the circle button on the right controller.
Caution: Many of our tours use aerial imagery to show off entire cityscapes. However, users who may experience Acrophobia (fear of heights) may want to try the tours sitting down or for extreme cases not try the tours at all in VR Mode.
